If your quest says harvest object x 10 times, and the object takes say about 30 minutes to refill instead of using restock, visit your neighbors and click on there this will count to your quest.
If you quest says harvest your object x 5 times again your neighbor one can count towards your quest.
If it says harvest your neighbor object x times unfortunately there is no way around but using your neighbor, but if it 5 times you can visit neighbor x once tend the object go home and repeat until you tend it x number of times.
